I think the public does see what’s happening but doesn’t have leadership on their side to help take them down, short of storming the white house. We need an action plan, solutions, not rallying cries

Thanks for the comment. I really don't think many people understand the Yarvin, Musk, Thiel, JD Vance connection and what the ultimate goal is. Sorry if my rallying cry is not good enough.

I'm all open to an action plan if you have one.

No, no your important information is definitely needed to make clear the trouble we’re in. But as you said, what do we do now? Not many in power are speaking up with a plan or some kind of solution to get this administration out before all this becomes our normal.

I think there are 2 “players” involved. This Dark MAGA & The Heritage Foundation. Idk if they are working together. I hope they aren’t and their opposing desires to be in charge will be their downfall. Wishful thinking maybe …

Yeah, there are a lot of players working to semi-aligned goals. The Heritage Foundation, Federalist Society, Christian Nationalists, and many more. Good point!

Yes, but Opus Dei is a link between Peter Thiel and Vance, which links to The Heritage Foundation. Opus Dei might be the link to the Christian Nationalist as well.

I love your “tin-foil” hat comment at the end. Made me giggle a little. It sounds so crazy, right?! But I first heard about Yarvin a couple months ago—it was hard to believe at first, but yeah, it’s not like he’s hiding his belief system. Shit, read his Wikipedia page. He and Dark MAGA—and all the groups currently aligned with them, like Heritage Foundation/Project 2025, et al—have been pretty clear about what their goals are and how they mean to achieve them. And we’re watching it play out now.

In terms of what to do, there’s a lot of info out there about how to resist/survive autocracy and our potential dystopian technostate future. But in terms of organized resistance, it seems the game plan for now is:

1) pressure elected reps at all levels about any democratic/representational backsliding

2) align with people already doing the work and get your marching orders, get out into the streets. I hear there’s a big protest going on April 5.

3) form community where you are and connect with those around you. This can include buying local to keep your money in your community and finding people to exchange goods and skills with, but it can also involve just stopping to connect with people you meet throughout your day. It doesn’t sound important, but their goal is to divide and isolate us, so strengthening bonds and community are actually very important to the resistance

4) practice self-care and tap-out when you need a break. We are all voices in a choir—you can take a breath while others sing, and you will do the same for others. Again, doesn’t sound important, but it is.

By sharing this information, you are already doing something. Find the next right thing to do. No one’s forming an army to take the government back over to fix all this shit. We just grind out resistance in small, sometimes not very emotionally satisfying ways.

Anyway, that’s my take.

I have seen this network getting more exposure over the last few weeks, people are awakening to the premeditation of the crimes and they are learning who the central actors are. Keep up the pressure, this is a great piece. People are ready for a shift in consciousness.

There’s only one way to deal with the problem if SCOTUS doesn’t shut them down. Someone with a certain skill set. Soon it’ll be too late. Everyone is afraid, with notable exceptions, of what trump will do to them if they don’t cave, and for the majority of people life goes on, so far. The deeper we allow the hole to be excavated, the harder it is to build our way out of it. It’s catastrophic, we just aren’t feeling the extent of it…yet.

Agreed. Completely. The deeper we get the harder it will be to get out of it and it's getting deep fast.

Anyone interested in the vastly overrated Curtis Yarvin owes it to themselves to listen to the hosts of the "Decoding the Gurus" podcast dissect him in the two-plus-hour episode that is dedicated to him. https://decoding-the-gurus.captivate.fm/episode/curtis-yarvin-the-edgelords-guide-to-monarchy-40k

The hosts are neither partisan flakes nor culture warriors. They do not, however, suffer fools gladly. Here is their description of the episode:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In this long-anticipated episode, Matt and Chris venture into the peculiar world of Curtis Yarvin—a reactionary blogger, tech entrepreneur, and self-proclaimed monarchist. Known to his early followers by the pseudonym "Mencius Moldbug," Yarvin has become a prominent figure in the "dark enlightenment" and neo-reactionary circles. Some have even hailed him as an "intellectual powerhouse" of the modern far-right, with endorsements from influential figures like Peter Thiel and J.D. Vance.

But what is Curtis really all about? In this episode, the decoders revisit the Triggernometry swamp to examine the political insights unearthed by the hard-nosed journalists Konstantin and Francis during their ferocious intellectual exchange with Yarvin.

Prepare for thrilling revelations, including the historical figures and movements Yarvin has catalogued in his encyclopedic memory, his pick for the best Elizabethan monarch, and the surprising number of non-monarchs he believes are secretly running monarchical regimes. True to form, Yarvin’s rhetorical style is nothing if not meandering. So get ready for a whirlwind tour through his "mind palace," exploring topics like Soviet Russia, Elizabethan England, Shakespearean conspiracy theories, and a fantasy world of reactionary and techno-libertarian musings—not to mention the obligatory lab-leak narratives.

Is Yarvin an edgy intellectual, a provocative contrarian, or just a verbose windbag with run-of-the-mill conspiratorial takes and a moody teenager's perspective on history? Matt and Chris tackle these questions, striving to decode Yarvin’s vision for society—and hoping, against all odds, that he might in the end just answer a single question.

Because I listen to Democracy at Work, I would counter that we need to democratise corporations. To be recognized as a corporate entity, boards of directors need to have 50% non-stockholders, who must be non-owners and non-managerial types. Corporate decision making rests with the majority. We should look at German corporate governance for some ideas. I

This post doesn’t specifically mention Ayn Rand and books like Atlas Shrugged, but the gist feels the same. Capitalist magnates/heroes are our only hope to combat the dumb and useless masses. Musk and Thiel among others in their sphere think they are “the ones” to save us.

Yesterday’s Atlantic Mag reveal regarding the Signal chat/Houthi attack is definitely full of impeachable offenses, beginning with their use of a non-government txting service with no permanent record of the conversation able to be archived. Take Trump & Vance down and you are left with the Hs Speaker, who will be replaced in ‘26 when the D’s become majority. Might be our best opportunity to get our Democracy back

That would be nice but they won't be impeached. Basically, nothing will happen to them. Even the Dems haven't brought up anything like that.

That could happen I suppose - or they could invoke the 25th amendment section 4 either the president’s cabinet ( I doubt they would do it all loyalists) or a body approved by law formed by congress to jointly agree that the president is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office - we are in deep trouble, there is a level of sociopathy on display in the oval office - the tech warlords -I believe are more dangerous as they are calling for a techno state -a true nightmare- I don’t see how this will end well - years of foreign intervention, greed, propaganda, toxic social media, conspiracy theories, election tampering - truly a dystopian nightmare - as a daughter of the American revolution I never thought I’d ever see anything like this playing out - this won’t end well - it will take every single American to stand up to this madness
